Rain Predicted to Fall in Most Jakarta Areas

Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Board (BMKG) predicted light moderate rain to fall in Jakarta today. Citizen should be aware of weather change.

Rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind in short duration around East Jakarta and South Jakarta this late afternoon

BMKG's Public Relation Division Head, Hary Tirto Djatmiko said, morning is cloudy with light rain pours in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta. While moderate rain in East Jakarta and South Jakarta.

Light Moderate Rain Predicted to Fall in Jakarta Today

"In afternoon, light rain will fall in Central Jakarta and moderate rain in East Jakarta and South Jakarta," he informed, Friday (4/27).

At night, light rain is predicted to fall in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta and moderate rain in East Jakarta and Seribu Islands. At dawn is mostly cloudy with light rain in Seribu Islands.

Temperature could reach 24-33 Celsius degree with humidity 65-95 percent. Northeast-southeast wind velocity is predicted to reach 05-25 kilometers per hour.

"Rain is potential to fall with lightning and strong wind in short duration around East Jakarta and South Jakarta this late afternoon," he stated.
